Despite our remote location, the Settlement has a full range of modern utilities, supplied from outside providers and by local businesses on the Settlement.

Homes on the settlement are heated using natural gas provided by Atco Gas. In case of emergency they can be contacted at 1-800-511-3447.
A local community member operates the water treatment plant that supplies homes in the Settlement with water. The plant generates potable water for households in the settlement which is delivered daily to each home for a small fee. See the water treatment plant page for more details.
Garbage Pick Up & Waste Management Site
A disposal site is located toward the east end of the Settlement. A local garbage collector maintains the site, as well as collecting household garbage daily for a small fee. See the waste management page for more details.
