The CNRL Liason is the first point of contact between members of FLMS, elected officials, administrative staff and CNRL representatives.  This can involve job and contract posting, approvals and communicating parameters and local protocols. The CNRL Liason is also responsible for receiving applicable incident and safety reports and communicating these items with the appropriate CNRL representative.
Environmental monitoring and stewardship of our traditional lands is also a part of this role, administering these monitors when dealing with water pumping or other production related matters. The CNRL Liason is also responsible for fielding member and staff complaints in regards to CNRL production and also helps to facilitate business relationships between local and non-local contractors and CNRL.
Lastly, this position helps to administer and plan CNRL’s community support initiatives, such as Métis Days and other events.
