Meeting with the school principals to ensure policies and procedure are adhered to in their respective school divisions, the Cross-Jurisdictional Liaison Worker will focus on the student, school, family and community to provide a solid support base for Northland students’ educational experiences in neighbouring school jurisdictions.
The Cross-Jurisdictional Liaison Worker will meet with students as required, for motivation, building relationships and providing work experience and career development opportunities.  This contact time with students is considered to be an integral part of the position.
The Liaison Worker works with agencies and partners to ensure that students are getting assistance in all areas.
